In terms of energy savings (30% - 40%) it’s key to run your Geyser off the second AC input on a Victron inverter so that it uses excess solar to warm during the day or from Eskom to heat from 4am - 5:30am for the morning shower. It will never draw from your battery to heat unless you wish to use some battery power which can be set up. The other obvious key to saving energy is to use your battery during peak periods and charge from solar the next day.
In Fourways Gardens, you must first complete a Solar Registration Form, available from the HOA Offices. You will also need:
