Peter Hall, popular and renowned South African artist and wild life photographer is also a resident of Fourways Gardens Estate.

Since day one of the Covid 19 Lockdown in South Africa, Peter has been observing and photographing wild birds, all of course from the confines of his own garden, when he is not hard at work in his studio.

On a daily basis Peter has posted his sightings on our Fourways Gardens Residents’ closed Facebook page. He is amazed to see, occasionally for the first time, species of birds never previously sighted in the Estate, which together with its parks and 3 ha untouched Nature Reserve is a tranquil oasis in the midst of the urban sprawl of the city of Sandton.

Peter has sighted and photographed the following list of 59 species of wild birds right here in the middle of Fourways! FOLLOW PETER ON FACEBOOK AT PETER HALL ARTIST!
